NCAAU Hall of Fame - Jessica Harris

JESSICA HARRIS
DENVER, NC
VOLUNTEER (GYMNASTICS)

INDUCTED 2018

Jessica has served as the NCAA gymnastics director for ten years. When she was appointed to the position, gymnastics had three clubs in NC and fewer than 150 members. Today, the program registers over 30 clubs and 1,000 members each year. NC ranks as one of the ten largest districts in AAU gymnastics.

Jessica was a competitive gymnast for five years in both AAU and USAG Programs. She then coached gymnastics for 14 years in Georgia, Florida, Hawaii, and North Carolina. She is a certified level 10 gymnastics judge, and has been judging at state, regional and national level for fifteen years. Jessica has two sons, Troy and Luke.

As a member of The National AAU gymnastics committee, she works with the national program. As a certified meet director, she has hosted large meets at both the state and regional level. Jessica cites as her biggest accomplishment, gaining the trust and respect from clubs that rely solely on the AAU program for their athletes.
