INDUCTED 2004

Seaford was one of the key volunteers in reorganizing the NC District in 1983. He has since served as district President (now Governor). Vice President, and Treasurer. He compiled a basketball-coaching record of 764-362 and won three National Championships, 11 State Championships, and 9 National Tournament Medals. He is a member of the National AAU Hall of Fame and was the first inductee of the NCAAU Hall.

He has served the NCAAU as Boys Basketball director and, Girls Basketball Director. He served as National Registration chair and National Boys Basketball Chair. He represented the AAU for 22 years as a board member of USA Basketball. He has been chairman at the National Board of Review since 1997. Four times he has been awarded the National Presidents Leadership award, as well as the National Ira Hurley award, the Basketball Vison Award, and the Paul Campbell Passionate Leadership Award. He also holds two National Service awards and District Volunteer of the Year award.
